One of several partnerships with UCLA, InterAxon neuroscience students would come and do workshops with us at MVG, several times per year, on topics that we were interested in. Topics included effects of substance abuse on the brain, sex and the brain, mental illness, and many others. Once or twice a year, InterAxon brought us to UCLA, where we toured the campus and laboratories, observed research experiments, learned about recent discoveries, and connected with college students from similar backgrounds.
